As much as it hurts and sucks that's exactly what I took from this eppi also! She's leaving it up to him and he just hasn't realized that he's ready to leave. However, I'm concerned for the return of Lady Heather in 9x5! Thanks for your drabble! Great job!

Thanks for your comment. I'm hoping that 9x05 is actually a redeeming episode for Heather, where she will call Grissom on his s**t and force him to eventually see the light. I can dream, right?

I'm hoping for the same thing! As great as it is for Sara to re-establish herself, the characters have such alchemy. And if anyone can get past Grissom's mental smokescreen (i.e. B.S.) and make him admit that he has the right to feel and act upon his feelings, it's Heather. Interesting viewing ahead.

Thanks for your comment. Yes, we are all hoping for a happy ending, but unfortunately in canon universe Sara is on her own at the moment.

This was a lovely little piece. Bitter sweet and full of emotion. I agree with your take on Sara leaving and I'm glad TPTB let Grissom be the one to mess it up. He has to be the one to fix it now, as it should be. On your knee's Grissom and beg!!

Yea, he was being typical passive-aggressive Grissom. I wanted to smack him and was actually impressed with Sara's self control for not throwing something very heavy at him!
