Can't remember if I commented already, I think toddlers have made off with most of my brain cells, but I love love love this. I'm a sucker for angst, and anything that causes pain to my Rodney is a good thing. As long as he get's put back together afterwords that is. Really loved this. And layoncolt's sequel. Happy sigh.

I read this exquisite threesome involving Rodney and Carson bringing Ronon into their relationship. It was frelling cool, and opened me up to more slash Ronon fics.
But I'll always be partial to anything involving my beloved Rodney, 'cause he's My Lord. *BEG*

I am glad Rodney held off from forgiving and taking John back! John deserves Rodney's foot up his ass for this. True it's not Ronon's falut as John Sheppard never does something he doesn't want to. Plus, I wonder did Ronon know about John and Rodney's relationship? Ronon doesn't strike me as the type to cut anothers lunch...

It always makes me cringe how Rodney tends to take John's infidelities with a few sharp words and then forgives me in other fics.

We have had this convo before about this :)*g*

Good fic and made me think about the nature of this one-sided relationship...

LOL. thats ok, I rambled about this in my LJ for both yours and Layton's story. It really fucked with my mind and heart. Couldn't stop thinking about it for days. Totally ruined my sleep ;-) *g* Not often I get such a strong reaction to a fic. So, you know you have done some special...

I agree that John being drunk isn't right. Maybe they can get past this and get back together. But, he slept with Ronon. Rodney's team mate. Can you see Rodney honestly being comfortable working along side him. Trusting John and Ronon? To me thats why the betrayal was heartbreaking because I could see no way forward for them as a couple or as friends.

Layton's sequel is awesome. I loved the fact we got to see John's emotional breakdown. You get that he is genuinely sorry. But I love that Rodney sticks firm and doesn't let it sway him.

Then right at the end. That glimmer of hope...

You're good. Making me absolutely detest the characters I love through fanfiction is not easy, but this? I felt like punching John and Ronon, while helping Rodney build up his walls again so that as could NEVER hurt him again. Brilliant job.

Now off to read the sequel!
