For our flight, I have a real book, I have audio books, I do not have any fanfic to read!!!
What's quick and simple to get AO3 content onto an iphone?
FYI. The iphone doesn't have a SIM card (it was my sister's) I only use it as a device.

help!?

Thanks, I'll go look at Stanza's interface. (I've tried to try a couple of ereaders in the last few months and not got on with them at all.)

And I can do the download straight to the iphone rather than put it onto iTunes and then synch it back to the phone again?

yep. Most apps also have their own DL/upload page as well, but you can go solely through AO3 if you choose. The next time you sync your phone it'll put the books onto your itunes acct for you, but unless you are buying a book from itunes there's no need to put it on itunes first and then sync to get it on your phone.

I do something similar to Donut, but I use PDFs and iBooks, which has enough sorting for me.

If it's too fiddly to do all the downloading on your iPhone, you could go via something like Dropbox, or even iTunes. For Dropbox, you'll need the app on your iPhone, but then you can use your computer to put all the PDFs in Dropbox, open it on your phone and let it sync, then move them into the reader of your choice - you'll have to do that one by one still, but it might be easier than finding the DL button on AO3 on the iPhone screen.

If you're using iBooks, DL the PDFs to your computer, add the files to your iTunes library, then just sync your iPhone with it - depending how fiddly you find the iPhone, that might be even easier.

I actually set myself up with a little widget for AO3 so it displays with larger text (I originally did it for my Blackberry, but it looks fine on the iphone as well).

If I can avoid going through iTunes I will. I know how to use it (for audiosjust fine, but I can't cope with it having a *moment* on me right now. (It always seems to go wonky just when I really need it to work :( )

The widget sounds like a good plan. And yes, I'm with you on iTunes - it's utterly evil, and if I could use something else I would :/

Sounds like Stanza will do the job nicely for you :)
