I am really kind of frustrated right now and would like to vent for a minute. My priorities are apparently out of whack(sp). I need to "get my shit done" before I go out and "have fun". Yes I will agree that I do need to get my stuff done around the house, and I will agree that things have been pretty bad for the last while, it just seems that ( Read more... )

hey, now. don't you be blaming me. i've supported your choices. just quote dumbledoor about him about how we all have to make choices between what is right and what is easy and that baby needs the milk and you know it too well.
the rest i agree with. i was doing great on my room, but my stuff isn't allowed to sit anywhere else so i have room to work on things, so i guess fuck it. i'll just live in a shit hole and listen to complaints.
people need to realize what they're asking and what needs to happen so that it can come about. you cannot clean with those kids around. you cannot keep the house clean with no help. you can, however, sing obnoxiously in the shower to get back at him sometime :)

I love you! I am just too tired to care anymore about anything other than my stupid messy nasty house. Maybe instead of having Chris help me I will see if she can take the kids for a day so that I can clean...maybe tomorrow and Saturday.

I know JUST what you mean and where you're coming from.

it's amazing that people, even those who love us, have no concept or respect for how hard it is to be a mom all day, let alone a maid, housekeeper, nanny, cook, laundress etc. It's frustrating, demoralizing and depressing.

But... we SAHM's and former SAHM's... WE know... it's like our own secret society ;)

Aw, sweety. I'm sorry that you are having a hard time with things. It is very reasonable that you would like some help with keeping the house straight. Granted Tim goes to work full time which is tough...you are at home raising his two beautiful children which is no easy task in itself!

I think that the men that do go out and work every day, while there wife stays home, don't realize how much time and work it takes to take care of the kids all day. Especially a two year old and 4 month old. I can only imagine how time consuming it must be. Have you talked to him about sharing the responsiblities more? Taking turns with things, or you both doing the things that you personally do best...or don't mind doing as much? I don't know the situation too well...so just a though. :)

Well good luck on the whole "getting a shower by yourself" thing. Definitly something that I take for granted!

Love you!
