Well....episode 1 & 2 were kinda interesting. Episode 3 went downhill faaaast. Oh look, there's Arty & Merlin riding off to the other castle without any backup (where have we seen that before?). But the thing I think that most annoys me so far is that I have NEVER seen a version of the King Arthur legend where Merlin doesn't love Arthur (keep your mind out of the gutter - I mean in a father/son kind of way). This Merlin seems ready to throw Art under the bus the minute he can't manipulate him. Granted, it's probably more realistic, but it's not a version I was hoping for.
And the Art & Gwen thing....really? She's a slut and he's an idiot. What IS it with all these new versions of the legend making Arthur such a spoiled child? It Art's around 20, then he's certainly an adult in that era - old enough to have been married and had children and a job by now.
