I know exactly how metaphorical the Bible is. I also know that I got these verses from the informative part of the bible. These verses are written here in their full context. That is the whole picture for each verse. This is not a metaphore for our life, it is straight explanation. You can see that clear as day by noticing that the first two sections were taken from the Adamic covenant and the third taken from the nohaic.
