"He said you didn't have that much time left."
Dean scratches the back of his head, grinning. "Had enough though, right?" He toasts, takes a long pull from his pint.
Sam trades glances with Bobby. "Was it a close call?"
"In case you haven't noticed, I'm in amazing shape." But he's pale, tracing sigils in the condensation on his glass, leg bobbing next to Sam's under the table.
"What about Old You?"
Dean rubs his chest, then blows out a breath and goes still.
"I'm fine. What are we still talkin' about this for? I'm fine."
Sam realizes he wasn't.
