Oh the sorrow! Granted with Supernatural I have resigned myself to them never truly winning.
I'm so glad you stuck with Katie!Ruby because the other one just didn't resonate with me, mainly because I got really attached to the snark. This is definitely staying with me :D

Supernatural really is something that I just can't imagine there really being a happy ending... it wouldn't make sense.

In my book Katie!Ruby is the only Ruby. She really was so delightfully sassy.

Part of what I love so much about this story is that it's so satisfying, all the way through. I also really admire that you went for the ambiguous ending (and with the Hollow Men quote!! Hearts in my eyes!)-- which works so well for this story. I wasn't expecting it, either, which made it just that much better. Your characterization of Samifer, too, GUH. SO GOOD. There were so many lines that I adored that they are too numerous to quote, so just be certain that I loved this all.

It always makes me happy when I'm informed that the mix was listened to while the story was being read, because holy hell, that mix was basically as long in the making as the story, it was kind of funny because I gave my beta a rough version of the mix to listen to while she was correcting stuff but I had to be like "don't ask me about why I chose the songs towards the end of it will ruin the whole thing"
