Hi, I know you posted this a couple months ago but I just wanted to say thank you for listing Elizabeth Ruths Ten Good Seconds of Silence!! Upon reading this I went to the library and checked it out and it was such a brilliantly beautiful book, I just fell in love with it. So I'm grateful to you for helping me find it. ^_____^

aw that just made my day!! i'm glad you enjoyed the book so much. it's rare to find a book that is partially set in a mental hospital yet holds such hope. i've written to the author just as a thank-you - she's so nice. aw i'm so happy you liked it! i assume you read Francesca Lia Block's books as well? ;) i can't wait to read her new book! ♥

yay! I'm glad I made someones day. ^_____^

That's really neat that you wrote to her! I should do that one of these days, I never write to authors I greatly admire and I really should! I was surprised that I hadn't heard of Elizabeth before, her being my fellow Canadian and all!! I usually make great effors to be aware of all the amazing artists up here, I must be slipping in my old age LOL! It was especially neat reading ten seconds because she set a great deal of the story very near to where I live! So it was quite exciting being able to picture it exactly. =D

Yuppers! haha my name lj name always gives away. ;D I'm a GREAT adorer of FLB, she's one of my top ten favorite authors. =) =) =)

do you live in BC? i read Ten Good Seconds a few years ago, and if my memory serves me right i think part of it was based in victoria. i'm canadian too, i live in london ontario which is a few hours away from Toronto. it's so neat when writers write about familiar places. ♥
