I read "The Yellow Wallpaper" in my fiction class this year, I had no idea who Gilman was before that but now I'm enamoured by her. I don't know why more people don't know who she is, I mean Virginia Woolf is all well and good, but she's a mite overexposed sometimes, you know? ;) Welcome by the way.

actually, i also read it in class (english literature), just recently, and me neither, had never heard of her before. i've been reading about her novel herland as well, which sounds really interesting.

and right now i'm supposed to be writing an essay on the yellow wallpaper. oh well.
