i agree completely! (obviously..)
although i did find the constant quoting of the bible, in the beginning of each chapter of the novel, slightly tedious and rather.. pointless.

i'm looking forward to the 2:nd part of the trilogy.

oh. he. sorry. i just meant i'm looking forward to reading the second part of the trilogy. which i haven't done yet, not because it hasn't been published, but just because i've been reading other books.

Is there an English translation of the book? I keep hearing about all these wonderful European authors and I'd like to read a few.

indeed there is. the novel is called 'dinas's book'. you should be able to get it from amazon. she's also written another trilogy, usually called the tora trilogy, the first novel in that trilogy is called 'the house with the blind glass window's' and if you like that one there is a swedish author called moa martinson, who has written on a somewhat similar theme, whose novels you also should be able to get in english.
