To make up for whiney, here's an art thing:

The guy who's grading my portfolio says to only put my best art in, but also tells me emphatically to throw down my pen and paint things. This is mostly impossible with my timeframe. "take a medium you have almost no experience with and make the best art you've ever done!" Fabulous. Okay, so this thing was cool, and he liked it, but now I'm out of burning inspiration.
Oh, and teacher man? My portfolio isn't going to look more cohesive if I make more weird experimental shit like this and stick it next to all the cartoony line art in there. sheesh, man. Make up your mind what you want from me.
