The fall play is a piece of crap, written by an untalented Canadian hack, directed by a woman who couldn't direct piss to run downhill, and performed in a shithole of a venue.

All due respect to those who got in (not like you've got a lot of options), but if I were you, I'd go on strike for a new play (that suits the venue) and a new director (maybe someone who has artistic values that aren't middle-aged and middle class).
