Echizen tip-toed past his room on the second floor, treading as lightly as he could to avoid making any sound. It didn't seem as if Kentarou was in yet, but he didn't want to take any chances.
The teacher in charge was roomed at the center of the long corridor, and Ryoma winced as he accidentally bumped his elbow along the wall. Heart pounding in the dim light, he listened intently for any sort of reaction.
Nothing.
Breathing slightly easier, he straightened and approached Sengoku's door. "Sengoku-sensei," he whispered as loud as he dared, knocking softly. "Are you there?"
Putting one hand on the door knob, Ryoma raised his voice slightly. "Come /on/, sensei," he hissed. "If I stay out here much longer, *he* might see me..."
There was a soft giggle and a slight thump as Sengoku's butt hit the floor. "Try pushing it!" he whispered loudly. Indeed, all the doors opened inwards from the outside...

"*HUFF* Ryo-chaaaaaan! *PUFF* You're really good at this! Can I get a hint? *COUGH* Third time up these stairs!"
Ken paused on the steps, holding onto the railing as he caught his breath. He couldn't take TOO long, though, or he'd NEVER catch Ryoma.
"Ryo-chaaa~~~~~n! I'll buy you foood! Please come out!"
Sighing and steeling himself, Aoi started up the stairs again, panting all the way.
