About 2 weeks ago I volunteered to be in this year's French play, run by the ANU French Collective (I think). I was then told that I had 2 weeks to learn all my lines. Well, 2 weeks has past and thankfully I feel as thought I know them all now, but 3 days ago I was hopeless ( Read more... )

You'll be fine!! I know how you feel, sometimes even utter minutes before performance it seems like everything is just going to crash and burn but it always turns out just swell. How did the presentation go?

Really well! I've never done a talk without using at least some notes before. I hadn't even bothered to memorise anything either. I even asked questions after other people's talks!!!! And that is simply unheard of from me!

So ys...let's just hope I don't forget any French lines

haha! Yes everyone who's said they'd come has said that:) I totally understand: the room will be full of French people...and that's really scary. But you have to come to see Jenny! She's playing the main female and I just can't get over the fact that she knows all her lines!!!!

thanks! it went quite well actually! Despite all the things that went wrong we managed to pull it all together. The two evening performances were full of people...pity about the matinee...but at least there were more audience members then cast on that day:) Or apparently we would have had to do it in our underwear.
