I have just discovered that the genius film, Spider, directed by David Cronenburg, which has to be one of the best films I've ever seen, is based on a book written by Patrick McGrath. Is the movie really that good? Maybe I should give Cronenberg another chance... so far I never really connected with any of his movies.

Haha, I love it when people can get so excited about something. I'm always inclined to believe them when they do. ;-)

Yeah, really good. Quite the head-fuck really. McGrath's novels tend to be very psychologically-based and have notoriously unreliable narrators. It's got a very good twist, put it that way.

Actually, that sounds like something I would really enjoy! I shall put it on my list as well. And unreliable narrators are fantastic. They tend to make for a lot of unexpected turns.
