I daresay that it's been a good week. (In the Wednesday-to-Wednesday sense, anyhow...This week isn't over just yet.) The title says it all, really - those two components really made up the bulk of the highlights

PI day!!! I missed Mi day and st. patircks day! oh well! I've had a lot of fun this week with co-workers and such.
I do like the sketch too!!! it is perfect. And now you can understand why I snicker at the scene when Edward tells belle he's a vampire
Edward: I'm a vampire Belle: I'm batman.
I SWEAR that's how I remember it! Then Belle summons the batmobile and goes crime fighting, leaving Edward really confused in his not-as-cool-as-the batmobile car. OK.. so maybe it was a dream... but it still was awesome.
More awesome than the original, really. I remember thinking even before I'd read the book that your version would have been a substantial improvement. Now, having read the book, I hold to that.

Go read it. Now. It's the whole reason I picked up the book in the first place, since I wanted to be able to get all the jokes. It is the be-all-end-all of Twilight parodies, and it's ridiculous funny.
hey, your students are just jumping on the bandwagon - give 'em like, what, 10-15 years or so, then vampires will be uncool again. and then I'LL write a horrible book about vampires and make lots of money (which will be used to throw awesome parties and such).
or, you could make 'em do the blackboard thing: "i will not write about vampires" or "edward cullen is not real" or "i am not bella swan".
and, robin, your cooking skills are definitely over the top! i think it's safe to say that last night, you got your cookie-groove back! (wait, does that sound weird? i just meant you make good cookies...better than mr. christie even!)
I'm not so sure about the cookies now...They were delicious on Friday night, but did you notice they got quite hard very fast? It seems to me they should have had at least one more soft day in 'em before drying out like that. Maybe it was 'cause I refrigerated them to harden the Hershey's Kisses...?
(P.S. Invite me to your awesome vampire-funded party.)
i left the cookies in the container, and they stayed the same as when i left your place. also, their cookie destiny happened to be a short one, as they were gone by the next day. so maybe, just maybe, you didn't eat them fast enough! (granted, i had two other people eating into my stash...)
(and of course you're invited to my vampire-funded party! who else would* bake theme cookies with me?)
*i just typed "whould". clearly, i've been watching too much family guy. if such a thing exists. "cool wHip"
