It's okay, Ryoma. Not everyone who likes another person is a pervert. This is how NORMAL people do it, so there is nothing wrong with you. Your father...is a bad example as anything but a tennis player.

In fact, the fact that you hate that sort of thing from anyone except Kintarou is a positive sign. It indicates that he might be your special someone.

Make sure both of you are comfortable with the pace, but don't feel you need to rush into anything.

I think, perhaps, that you try too hard. He uses your own feelings against you. If you could find a way to not care, then you would likely beat him.

...Ryoma, you are not a pervert. I think you never will be one. You may have inherited a lot from your father, but this you get from your mother. Don't let the fear of becoming like your father stunt your emotional growth. It is okay to show and receive physical expressions of affection with your friends. A kiss on the cheek, a pat on the back, curling up next to one another to watch a movie or old Open footage. It's fine.
