Hah~? Is it really that big a deal? 'Sides, some people forget where they found things and just put 'em where they think they should go. And isn't it your job to clean up the library and put things back where they're supposed ta go?

Did ya miss the part about there being carts everywhere for those books? I mean, it's less effort to put the books there than to wander into the stacks, y'know. They have to work harder to be that stupid. And yeah it's a big deal when inventory is off, or someone's screaming at you for not having the "essential to my studies" book that the catalog computer SWEARS is on the shelf. And yeah, it's our job. Tell ya what, you sacrifice 5 hours of your life going througn one section, then tell me if ya don't get aggravated at people.
