i'm tutoring two young boys at the Ujima center and it is so much fun! they are adorable and i love helping them read, write, and do math. of course, i picked this age group because it was the only one i felt confident in, 7-9. It's easy being smart until someone tells you to explain yourself. Luckily multiplication and division isn't too hard

Auditory speech connections work faster than we think they do. When I work with the middle schoolers I go "Sit yo rear end down boy!"
