Some sort of outbreak? Yet from what I am gathering the symptoms don't seem uniform. How peculiar.

I'll be heading into the hospital to work an extra shift while people are being treated. If anyone needs help getting to the hospital. Please let me know. I can get you on my way there.

This doesn't have a thing to do with the unfortunate illnesses, I'm afraid, but I need to ask it out of curiosity. Have we met before? You look vaguely familiar, but I can't quite place you.

It's possible I have been in this world for over a year now.

Well I know who you are, since I have met Mr. Van Helsing a couple of times in the past. Though I'm not sure that you and I have met face to face.

Oh for heaven's sake. I am merely making an observation. I have yet to see all of the damage with my own eyes. Besides there is still a chance, this is merely a City curse.

Madame, you have the ability to pull together the observations of others and draw an excellent conclusion.

Perhaps but as of right now. There are not many observations to draw from, only sick people who are in need of care.

You work at the hospital, ma'am? Do you know anything that might help if released to the public to assist in keeping people from being harmed?

At this point I only know we are dealing with multiple strains here. The best thing people can do is stay inside and if they know anyone showing symptoms of any type of illness to bring that person to the hospital immediately.

Partly I believe that is but I will not know for certain until I have spoken in more depth with the doctors and healers, who are doing the actual healing. I'm merely aiding them at this point.

My father is ill with the black plague, Mrs. Harker. This City appears too fond of that disease.

There have been several cases of the black plague along with a few other diseases surfacing at the hospital. Indeed it seems this City is far too fond of making its citizens suffer.

Do you know who is looking up the "black plague" specifically?

No, not yet. I have been aiding in taking care of the sick. It hasn't left much time for conversing over what we are seeing.
