I'm finally on my two week break! It's not even a break though, we're constantly reminded it's a study break but.. yeah. After having four rounds of exams at once, I really need a break.

I feel like such a fail though, my results were kind of bad. Compared to like 1000 other Einsteins taking the course, I always feel like I'm in the bottom percent ( Read more... )

No! Don't despair! I feel like this even now. I feel like everyone at my school is a super genius who can study for five minutes and still do better than me even though I studied for days ;A; Just do your best and try not to pay so much attention to everyone else. Set your own personal goals and do your best to achieve them :)

Ughh, It's so hard. ;-; I'm trying to keep up with everyone but they're all moving at the speed of light. D:
HNNNGGG I've got another test coming up 2 weeks after my break. WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO US.

Sorry to say, first years are always meant to feel like nothing because they're just starting out. But have faith. You'll find a way. I suggest finding a study habit that works for you so maybe you don't have to study so hard. :3

Meant to feel like nothing? :o I'm a little confused there. I think first years are usually supposed to be a bit relaxed, so you get a feel around how University is supposed to feel like.
I just picked a really competitive course to start with though, and everyone's trying to step on each other to get the 150 seats available into Medicine.

I think I need to learn how to study smarter. I usually sit down on Wednesdays and weekends to cram for hours on end. :S

Ah, sorry. What I meant is you're made to feel nervous and that you can't do as well. I know that I was relaxed (midnight car runs ftw) but I also felt like a moron compared to others. It'll go away with time.

Thank you. :'( But stress is inevitable! D: I'm going to lose all my hair by the end of the year, I swear. ;_;

We all have our talents and strengths; studying and retention comes more naturally to some more than others. You've just got to find your own comfort zone in that range.
I dunno how it works, but I don't study until the few minutes before a test or quiz and do about B or A-range work; I can't remember things worth beans otherwise, though.

=^..^=~

It's sad isn't it. D: I'm just such a fail when it comes to remembering things.
Yeah, I know cramming 5 minutes before the test just won't do it for me. I just suppose my buddies have AMAZING short-term memory or something.
I just got an A- and B on my first two tests so far , but it's really not good enough for my course. ;___;
