If I can only pick one, then it's gotta be Dante from Devil May Cry. Because for one thing, it gives me an excuse to use this icon, and for another I just can't pick anyone else. I love love LOVE him. He's a ridiculously over the top, crazy awesome Nero-upstaging great big showoff, (the cutscenes where he plays around with new Devil Arms are some of the silliest I've ever seen in my life, Nevan, Pandora and Lucifer especially) but there's enough depth concerning his past and his relationships with others to keep him interesting and three dimensional. He's instantly likeable, right from his very first scene in DMC1, great fun to play as, and what else can I say? He just fills my dark soul with LIIIIIIIIIGHT makes me smile.
