LJ is pissing me off. I wanted to add a link to iluvmyti85, but every time i tried to do that it deleted the rest of my entry. :( WAH!

I promise this isn't a massive ad for Hoopnotica. I don't work for them! I'm just in love with them!

Have you ever seen Miss Saturn perform? She's at the Slipper Room a lot and one of my favorite performers there...

I've debated buying myself a trampoline for cardio. We could totally have a trampoline/hula hoop party!

Sick thing is that I was like...I wonder if I could hoop while bouncing on a trampoline. I think not. :-p

I haven't seen her perform. That might be a fun half day Friday thing to do!

Inferior hoop purchased! I _can_ get a hula hoop from Target or Walmart. It is NOT as cool as the one I had from Benny's though-- the one I had from Benny's was bigger and sturdier.

I just know that me and hobbies...we don't stick. I do love hula-hooping though. In fifth grade, at Hazard school, it was really cool to hula-hoop. That was the only time in my life I excelled at some sort of playground activity (well, until drinking 4-square). And I can still walk and hoop, mesmerize the cat and annoy Eric :). Maybe if I retain my will to hula hoop I will get a better one and learn to do fancy tricks.

Dude, you should totally make sure that your hula hoop is an adult hula hoop and not a kiddie one. It's really gotta be way bigger than the kiddie ones because if it's not it'll be infinitely harder to do tricks in it.

There's a bunch of tutorial videos on youtube you can check out.

There are tutorials out there, you could make your own hula hoop out of 160psi tubing. It'd prolly be infinitely cheaper for you to do that than to order a hula hoop from etsy or hoopnotica, but I'm not sure if you're into that whole DIY thing.
