Well...I haven't written in here in awhile. I wonder who all is still around. I have been working like every day. I got a job at Chevy's and within a week I became a server, which is really nice because I bring home tips now and whatnot. I like my job and I think I'm going to give my two weeks notice at Aladino's so that I can be available ( Read more... )

I always tip 30-50%, unless the service was shit--then it's a nice, shiny quarter.

Serving food is a hard job, and it doesn't pay shit outside of the tips, so you've gotta be good to folks or they'll never be able to afford to get out of the food biz.

That is so true, serving food _is_ tough. If anything, today proved it as well. I worked a double at a Mexican restaurant on Cinco de Mayo. Good lord...
