The riding habit bodice is actually by Truly Victorian.
angldst used the men's 1750s-60s coat for T's carnevale outfit. I did the mockup & it was ok, tho' the sizing was way off. I went up 3-4 sizes from the measurements & the sleeves are still a smidge tight w/the full sleeves of the shirt. I used different patterns for shirt & waistcoat (& bought the breeches).
Oh & why wouldn't Jason wear an outfit like that? He dresses up quite a bit? I'm sure he'd look great!
LOL! I know the riding habit is TV :D I am a disciple of TV patterns. RH ran out of it at the con I was at, and I was mad at myself for not picking it up at the beginning of the weekend. I like to save myself the shipping :)
J has a fear of looking like a fruity fruit fruit fancy pants boy. I try to tell him that he could wear a frilly pink dress and still not be mistaken for a girly man, but he has yet to be totally convinced.
That particular part of the 18th-c. is the *least* fruity of 'em all :-D Send him pix of T., who is a bigger, not-girly-man type. He wears ruffles at the neck & cuff, & he does wear tights, but he also wears his creepers & goth colors.
