Vintage powder compacts

Who knows how these things happen.  You're scrolling around Pinterest one day and discover an object that used to exist that you can't believe ever went away.  And now you want one.  For me it was a cane with a powder compact handle.

I picked up the powder refill at Target. Now that I know how easy it is to get refills, I agree I totally need this.

I've always loved powder compacts. When I was little, it just seemed to be such a glamorous thing to have! But the compact on a cane? The greatest thing ever and I want one!!!!!
