Mao and Okamura make it to Paris to do research:
OKAMURA: "All right, I'm getting it!"
MAO: "Getting what?"
OKAMURA: "The connection between the Goldschmidts and the Goldsmiths."
MAO: "Oh?"
OKAMURA: "In the 1830s, when the Zoo was constructed, the Goldsmiths were merely a branch of the Goldschmidt family, an offshoot barely worth mentioning. While the Goldschmidts faded from history, though, the Goldsmiths became the main players.
holy shit is that...English in anime that is accurate?
OKAMURA: "They build their fortunes during both world wars, founded the present Cinq Fleches Pharmaceutical, and expanded their business to include hundreds of subsidiary companies throughout the world. The Goldsmiths are connected to Cinq Fleches. If we investigate the Goldschmidts through the Goldsmiths, we'll soon get to Saya."
MAO: "So how do you intend to research these Goldschmidts?"
OKAMURA: "Well, I was just in the process of devising--"
[Mao throws a book at him lmfao] MAO: "You said that I'd get to see Kai if we came to Paris, but it's been three straight days going from library to library! I'm calling it a day. I'm leaving."
I love this whole conversation and exchange, delicious double meanings:
AMSHEL: "If you mean the incident at the Zoo, don't worry about it. You probably did it because you were worried about our future."
SOLOMON: "It's about the Sif. Why did you make those things without telling me?"
AMSHEL: "Again, they're a form of insurance for our future. You need only to leave everything to me."
SOLOMON: "Brother!"
[The doors open, and Nathan, James, and Diva enter]
NATHAN: "Oh, are we interrupting something?"
AMSHEL: "No, not at all."
NATHAN: "This dress is really beautiful. I'd really like to wear it myself..." [alkkjdaksdasd;dlsad]
AMSHEL: "Wonderful."
[Amshel kisses Diva's hand.] DIVA: "Indeed, today is a very important day. Isn't that right, Father?"
AMSHEL: "You only need to play along in front of the humans. Put on your best behavior today."
DIVA: "Like when we were in Berchtesgaden..." [link to wiki page]

DIVA: ..."when there are so many people in this city that I want to play with."
AMSHEL: "Indeed."
- Then there's this scene where Saya is sitting on a street corner and is suddenly aware of Diva being nearby because she hears her singing. Then it switches to the Sif that Kai is getting a bonerclue for. And then Diva drives right by.

- Saya then runs around the corner and sees Diva at the opposite end of the street.
