Episode 38
This episode starts with Diva sitting unhappily in some shack because, ew, she's so better than this.
Or she's sad that Karl's dead, w/e
JAMES: "Karl is dead."
AMSHEL: "That's right."
NATHAN: "Are you sad that our brother is dead?"
JAMES: "No. Karl, being nothing but unpredictable, has not been part of our team. Rather, it is for the best."
NATHAN: "Oh, how cold..."
JAMES: "I will not let Diva die."
NATHAN: "I see, you haven't changed since being made a Chevalier in Berlin."
[Nathan steals James' locket again] JAMES: "Give that back."
NATHAN: "I already have!" [and it's back in James' pocket]
JAMES: "You trickster!"

DIVA: "James..."
[James kneels] JAMES: "Everything is for Diva."
[Diva offers her hand, but suddenly changes to be sexy again]
Explanation of why Diva is in a dump:
LOUIS: "This is the island. The surrounding 17km around the coast used to be herring fishing grounds. But since there's no more fish to catch, no one lives there anymore. There's a small village left standing by the sea, but the island is unpopulated. However, the government now uses the place as dumping grounds for nuclear waste."
KAI: "Dumping grounds?"
LOUIS: "Yeah. There's a shaft 500m deep where the dump depleted nuclear fuel rods."
KAI: "And Diva's shooting her promotional video there?"
OKAMURA: "It seems that the production company directing the shoot got permission from the government."
MAO: "It was hard work finding that out, though!"
DAVID: "Is it true that they're filimg there?"
OKAMURA: "It is. There's no doubt that they're planning to produce the promotional video. However, the shoot itself is scheduled to start tomorrow. I've heard that the star will arrive there ahead of the others."
DAVID: "So this is our only change to strike at Diva, huh?"
LOUIS: "The timing just seems to good to be true, though..."
DAVID: "Even if we know it's a trap, there's no other way but to bet on the small chance of success."
While Saya and everyone has an epic battle against James + Corpse Corps, Solomon and Amshel have a conversation by the fireplace:
SOLOMON: "I have returned."
AMSHEL: "You're late."
SOLOMON: "Well, I've been busy with various matters. Also, my brother, about Karl..."
AMSHEL: "I know. He showed his caliber. By the way, Solomon, it seems that Saya's group has landed on Christina Island."
SOLOMON: "On Christina Island? Diva's gone there for her promotional shoot, hasn't she?"
AMSHEL: "All according to schedule."
[Amshel looks to the side, and Diva's standing there]
So in the fight against James, Saya crystalizes one arm and leg, but James is determined to kill Saya--so he pulls her down with him into the nuclear waste site. But Solomon shows up and cuts off the arm holding Saya to fly her back to safety.
Solomon explains:
SOLOMON: "I have something I have to tell you."
SOLOMON: "He figured out that I would tell you about Diva's schedule. It was my brother's plan."
SAYA: "Brother?"
SOLOMON: "Amshel Goldsmith."
[everyone gasps--yes, apparently they hadn't figured this out before]
SOLOMON: "Amshel, the eldest brother, who leads Diva's Chevalier."
[Then it flashes back to wherever Diva & Co. are]
DIVA: "Ne...Is that kid James all right?"
AMSHEL: "I sent Nathan to retrieve him. As soon as they return, make your way to New York."
"eh, whatevs"
DIVA: "And you?"
AMSHEL: "I'll be arriving later on."
