Episode 43
this episode begins with Diva being a destructive little shit
NATHAN: "That was her favorite Lalique vase. She said she wanted it at any cost. It seems she's not in any mood to cooperate."
AMSHEL: "Diva..."

AMSHEL: "What do you truly wish for?"
DIVA: "Him. Him..."
Diva is all for keeping it in the family.
Julia is checking up on Diva's chillins:
JULIA: "The fetuses are growing well."
DIVA: "Call them babies. Ne, I wonder when they'll be born..."
DIVA: "My babies."
JULIA: "Well, hm...Judging from the state of the fetuses, in humans, I would say this is the eighth week of gestation. But in this case..."
AMSHEL: "Diva, this is all just the beginning. Do you understand?"

Then, at a trailer, Diva is getting her hair did:

[outside the trailer, amshel speeds away to kick ass]
Later that evening, Kai is being useless:
KAI: "Is it going to start soon?"
AMSHEL: "Of course. The irrepressible bloodthirst is about to come."
KAI: "You!"
[Amshel grabs and twists his arm]
KAI: "Amshel Goldsmith..."
AMSHEL: "This is the second time we've seen each other since Siberia. Kai Miyagusuku."
KAI: "A Chevalier?"
AMSHEL: "How human indeed, to choose to use force in this situation. [Kai was drawing a gun] I am inviting you to Diva's place. It is what she wishes."
[So Kai, being smart as he is, goes]

So Diva sings, and everyone is blown away, because damn, shotagirl know how to sang. She leaves the stage to talk to Amshel, Nathan and Kai:
NATHAN: "Perfect!"
DIVA: "What did you think of my song?"
KAI: "Nothing at all."
DIVA: "Is there no way to tame you?"
AMSHEL: "Diva..."
DIVA: "I know, Amshel...This is something I should save for a special day. Ne, Kai...On that special day, I'd like you to be by my side. So become my Chevalier. Will you protect my children with Amshel and Nathan?"
KAI: "Who would?"
DIVA: "If you become a Chevalier, you can have children with Sister Saya. Doesn't that motivate you?"

[Kai looks like he's considering it for a moment before tightening his hold on the trigger.]

[Diva starts yelling--this is notable because this is the first time we've seen her angry and yelling]

[But then she's back to playful and mocking]
DIVA: "Well then, I'll just eat you."
[Diva smirks, but Saya appears and Diva and Co. ninja away]
DIVA: "Look! He really is my sister's precious prince."
SAYA: "Get back!"
KAI: "But..."
SAYA: "Hurry!"
[Saya rushes forward, but Amshel catches her easily and crushes her wrist]
KAI: "Shit...Make him stop!"
NATHAN: "Bravo!"
[Haji comes out of nowhere and Nathan bitchslaps him away. I am not even joking.]
NATHAN: "Your partner is me!"
HAJI: "Saya!"
AMSHEL: "How shall we proceed?"
DIVA: "Hm, I wonder...Kai's watching, too, so why not kill her?"
KAI: "Stop it! Stop it already!"
[Kai shoots, but Amshel catches the bullet in his hand no problem. Someone by the stage screams]
AMSHEL: "So it begins..."
People in the audience are turning into Chiroptera, so Diva goes to watch:
DIVA: "How wonderful!"
AMSHEL: "It still needs some adjustment."
SAYA: "Why would you do this?"
DIVA: "You should watch, too, Kai. It's too good to miss!"
KAI: "Shut up."
DIVA: "Amshel, I'm done with Sister Saya."

DIVA: "Forget it. Everyone is saying Sister Saya this, Sister Saya that. It's really disappointing. Let's go home, Amshel."
AMSHEL: "Is that all right?"
DIVA: "Yes, it's fine. I have these children, after all."
[Haji kicks Nathan into a trailer, and this is just adorable]
