I think the initial shock of moving and adjusting to a new environment is wearing off. Gifu is still really country and really damn inconvienent most of the time, but its easier to deal with now

Well, it may not be Kochi, but it sounds like you're doing pretty darn well. I love it the kids are all cute and affectionate. A little baby today kept calling me "Mommy" and trying to get a high-five even though her real mum was standing right behind her.
