Well, here we go...

I hate it here. I hate it so much. The more I try to like it here, the more I grow to hate it. For what must have been the hundredth time since I got here, I called my Mom in absolute hysterics about my life. And now, after our conversation, I am faced with a decision: if I want to come home, my parents will do everything they can to make it ( Read more... )

Don't let it get the best of you. I know you can do it. I have faith in you. Just keep breathing. You will be successful in whatever you do. Think through it all, I would hate for you to do something you regret. You'll get through it. I know you will. And if that bastard tries to pee on you again, use defication!!

Isn't it possible to quit and work for someone else once Nova has sponsored your working visa? I thought that they were good for three years. Maybe I'm wrong, but a smaller company, a different location, or even private tutoring sound better than your current situation. You could always ask Visi if the small English school she works for could hire you.

Marie, I'm so sorry that you hate it there. It sounds like you are miserable and I don't like that. I want you to be happy and who cares if you quit. You are doing what is best for you right now and anyone who doesn't understand that can go jump in a lake!

I hope you decide to come back to us in Denton and maybe even Carino's. We miss you and want to see you again.

Try to make it back before April!

I believe in you, Marie. You do what you know in your heart needs to be done. You can score any job you want, here or there. Just make yourself happy, and everything will fall into place. Remember when I had that AWFUL job at the theatre last Christmas? I thought it was going to be Heaven and Film, but instead it turned out to be Hell on a Projection Platter. I'm just telling you that b/c we both thought that we would absolutely love the jobs, and then they turned out to be terrible for reasons other than the actual job itself. Please call if you need anything, even just somebody to listen and not say anything. Love to you, babe, hang in there!
