Ah, the blowfish story...

Long story short, I went to Shimonoseki at the suggestion of my Japanese teacher back at UNT over Golden Week. I was walking through a street fair when this little old Japanese lady pulls me into her little shop and feeds me. Turns out the food was soba noodles with blowfish and I ended up getting really really sick because either the fish was mildly poisonous, or just not cooked right. It was a miserable night, and I will never go back. :)

LOL, what I love best about reading through my old Gaidai entries is all the random conversations I would have with Liz that I put in my journal.

Marie: I love Liz like Lincoln loved his beard?!
Liz: *girly giggle*
Marie: I must destroy you both. It's for your own good.

Good times. :)
