Today we had to put down Velvet, our singularly neurotic but also graceful and heart-breakingly affectionate cat. She was fifteen or so, her once sleek black coat dreary and unkempt and her always lean body suddenly shrunken down to five-and-a-half pounds. All of her organs had basically failed. I am so sorry about Velvet. I know how hard that can be. I'm here if you wanna talk. As for the class 2010, i need to go bed because it is 3am and i will be up all night looking at these profiles. Hopefully it is a cool class...which some desperate yet awkwardly sweet boys.

I'm fine, but thanks. I think that either I deal really well with grief or I'm just seriously emotionally repressed. One of the two.

We had to put down my ferret. But that was long ago. As in, back in the 90's.

Wow. The 90's really weren't that long ago. I'ma old lady!

Ooh, isn't it pretty? I actually prefer the Australian recording because it has Anthony Warlow and Philip Quast, both of whm I adore, but I like the OBC too. Mandy Patinkin! The music is extremely pretty.

Yes, one of my friends was sending me the Australian recording, but my computer, being the piece of crap that it is, killed the download. But I did get to hear one song of Anthony Warlow squeefullness.

Ah, the countless animals we've had to put down. I can think of three cats and two rats... So I know how you feel. The only time I ever see my dad get misty-eyed is when the pets die!
