Anne, I went to see An Education today and I liked the first half of it a lot, while I was kind of freaked out by the last bit. Also, the ending didn't seem very plausible because, really, who has an ending like that? But other than that I really liked it, and thought it was a great film. I'm definitely up for a rewatch of it!

I was really hoping that when she broke up with David she would chuck the Oxford plan and go travel or something. But they did have a point that there was nothing much she could do professionally without a degree.

There wasn't enough Emma Thompson in this movie. :)

Yeah, I was hoping that too - hoping that she would be glamorous and stylish like the first half of the movie, but no.

I completely agree with that statement.
