forget about attractiveness. our country seems to think that no one has the right to criticize it. foreign critics are racists while local ones are unpatriotic. we cry foul when foreigners so much as hint that our country isn't perfect but we're free to insult them to our heart's content. if a foreigner commits a crime in our country, we cry for blood and refuse to accept no for an answer. meanwhile, if a Filipino commits a crime in a foreign land, we do our best to "save" them because they don't have the right to prosecute one of us.
