The guy who made that exhibit should know that there is such a thing called "boundaries." Freedom of expression is not absolute, and as an "artist" he should know if it's in good or already bad taste. We just had a very interesting debate in our lit class about this. I can only say that I was moderating all the view points, but at the end of it the question was "Is there any message that is so great that it surpasses anything done to the form?"
But as my previous art prof. said, "It's simple. Would you say yes if an artist asked if he could take your grad picture and stick a phallic...thing... on it?"
I wonder how many would say yes to that. :))
