It seems like a long time since I've actually posted in my livejournal.  I'm still struggling with my ankle...word of advise do not break your ankle.  It's just not worth it!  I've seen the Surgeon and the plate and five screws must be taken out.  The swelling hasn't stopped since the break and I'm fed up to my eyes with wearing the 'granny' sock

Oh, poor girl! My ankle is not loving me too - not broken but a big, fat Hallux valgus since ages ...... and now the ankle is killing me since 2 weeks. I am rather physician resistent and try to treat it "naturally" but I start to think over :-)
