I get the staples out of my ankle on Thursday! Can you tell I'm excited.  Hell yay!!   I can say that it feels so much better since I got the hardware taken out.  The only problem is, there is going to be no winter holidays this year.  I'm not sure how much walking I'm going to be able to do.  Oh well, we'll have a double holiday next year.  Beside

Congratulations! So that ankle should be as good as new in a few months' time, right?

I can honestly say, that it feels like it's never been broken. I had tonnes of scar tissue as well as a lot of ligament damage. The surgeries took all the scar tissue out, and with fingers crossed, I don't have to go for additional surgeries...
