holy shit. real life lol.

when i was in ireland all i could think about was jonathan swift and that essay. and then when we were on our way to stay in a castle hostel (yes, a CASTLE) the cab driver slowed down on this country road and said, "oh, have you heard of jonathan swift? [yes of course] this [point at big gated arch] was where he lived. now some old lady owns it." so yeah i stayed in a castle down the road from jonathan swift.
