Despite being born in Canada, we're Hungarian by blood.
Though even this is not entirely true. My grandfather does indeed sport the commonplace last name of Molnar (variation of Molnari, which has an accent on the i) my grandmother's last name is Hoyous. This is the name of a spanish man who at some point around the 1400s thwarted a threat on the King's life and attained the rank of Count. Some years later his family moved to what is now Austria/Hungry and set up feudal shop there. During the fall of the iron curtain both my grandparents fled the country to Canada. There are amazing stories of leaving everything behind, dead men in trees, parachute silk, women on horses leading you through mine fields, et cetra.
On my father side it's Canada for seven to nine generations, and Scottish prior.

Reminds me - I need to check when I need to renew my citizenship card and passport.
Those are great photographs.
