Not defending him or anything, but he made you memorize those because they come up in british lit over and over again.

It's NOT imposing christian beleifs because the seven deadly sins aren't even IN THE BIBLE. They were created in things like Dante's inferno. :/

kay, that was ignorance on my part, I admit. I know Christianity is a major theme in Brit Lit, but this guy seems so biased sometimes it's hard to separate what is relevent and what he's throwing in because he can. *shrug*

Well either way they're curriculum. And biased or not, just mentioning something as simple and innocent as that is certainly not the big bad christians throwing things in your face.

You may as well get used to it. You've got to read coutnless bible verses and the first chapter in Genesis and you have to read religious poems as well as excerpts from dante's divine comedy and Paradise Lost.

No matter how biased a teacher can get they usually won't overstep their boundaries that far because of how easy it is to lose a job over that. :/

You should already know the sins, mister! It's the 7 Homunculus from FMA~!

And just so you know, I despise Brave New World on the same level as 1984.

Of course I know the 7 deadly sins already. ^^;; Though Richardson calls "Wrath" "Anger" for some reason. *shrug*

As for BNW, I think I'll give both books a read to see how I like them. To be honest, BNW is kinda been bland so far. >.>
