The SX70s produce some beautiful hues and effects. The colors are all ace. I've always wanted to own one but was never too savvy about shopping around because i thought they'd all be too expensive like the film.

Mostly though, the die hard fans i know all use eBay to buy their film.
I'm not sure where else might sell it.

oh wow. now THATS classic. what kind is it?

it seems like it would be much easier to find cool, older cameras in europe since so many of the old companies are from there.

oh yeah! thats a great episode. they name the high school after him. i almost went up to him and told him that Videodrome is one of my favorite movies. he probably would have thought i was a weirdo though.

I just stumbled upon your livejournal and saw this post and thought i'd help.

a good place for pack film shopping is bhphotovideo.com

and if you aren't up for spending a bundle on sx-70 film you can always use 600 film in the sx-70 camera with a piece of cardstock to slide it in place.

sweet! thanks for the heads up. i'm going to try that trick because i can get the 600 film pretty easily.
