I have been very slack with reading livejournal over the past few months, life got in the way (and facebook).

Here is my 2007 summary thing.



1.What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?
Got a job in community radio

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I did go on holiday, but I didn't cook very much at home.

Next year I want to procrastinate less :)

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
nope

4. Did anyone close to you die?
nope

5. What countries did you visit?
West side of Australia

6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
Simplicity may be the way to go, but that would be boring. More adventures :)

7. What dates from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
I'm not good at dates, but my birthday was AWESOME.

8.What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Starting out in a great career, producing Girl Interpreted at Darebin Music Feast.

9.What was your biggest failure?
Saying nothing when I should have said everything, saying everything when I should have said nothing.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Yes but didn't worry so much about it.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
Flights to Broome and back. Best thing I've ever done.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Don't Mess With The Pony for being an amazing band. Cat for being a sensational housemate.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled?
I would prefer not to say in this forum.

14. Where did most of your money go?
As always, medical expenses.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Travelling!

mother, various girls.

I stopped watching TV this year.

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Gosh no.

Elizabeth Gilbert - Eat, Pray, Love.

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Antony and the Johnsons

28. What did you want and get?
paid work!

29. What did you want and not get?
this girl that I dig.

30. What was your favorite film of this year?
Stranger Than Fiction

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I was 26. Shopped a wee bit on Brunswick St, went to visit my friend Mel, saw Dreamgirls at the moofies with Ntennis and Adam, participated in Pride March and sang about 5 songs at the karaoke stage, went to dinner at a Japanese restaurant with 10 mates, happy day! Had a party a few days prior at another Japanese restaurant and got completely wiped out on Asahi and sake, went to karaoke and had a very skanky night that will go down in history.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Getting the girl! But the year isn't over yet, and I'm being a dork about it.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007?
Colourful

34. What kept you sane?
Beer, karaoke, being on air, and also beer.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
I don't really go in for that hero worship of celebrities. I was so so so happy to finally interview Clare Bowditch though. She was lovely.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
ELECTION!

37. Who did you miss?
Gnatty again!

38. Who was the best new person you met?
Gary Robottom. I love that mofo.
Oh and Sal Kimber.

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2007:
Regret is not helpful so don't bother with it. Move on. Only forward.
