Apparently just a couple days ago there was a massive tornado (and several smaller ones) in Suffolk, VA. I used to live very close to Suffolk, in Virginia Beach. My sister currently lives just a bit south of Suffolk in northern North Carolina. The Hampton Roads area isn't exactly known for its tornadoes. Tonight I ate at a fine dining establishment. The kind with horrendously expensive aged steaks and truffled mashed potatoes and special smoked/roasted forest mushrooms on the menu. The kind with all the waters/waitresses looking like extras from Rent - but all in black.

when I get back from this trip, we're buying a new lawn mower.
