Ok, driveby post time. When I first signed up for LJ it was honestly just so I could read things, and not at all to post or interact, but now that I do these things I'm sort of not digging my username? It's sorta boringish? IDK but I have a new one in mind that I feel really fits me. I just can't decide whether to take the plunge and change it? ( Read more... )

Change it! Make a post that you did change your name from X to Y so anyone reading/following you can make the connection if they get confused. Maybe even on your profile, if you're super worried. Do what makes you happy!

I have people changing their names on my flist all the time. Just a quick post saying that you've changed it is all you really need. I say go for it!

Yeah now that I'm thinking about it I haven't had trouble when other people have changed, so I guess I'll go for it!
