Well...QAF is over. It felt really odd to watch the last credits ever last night...no preview, just the end. Hm. I went into the finale thinking I would be disappointed. At the end, I was satisfied...it felt like an ok ending to me

I was actually quite satisfied with the ending as well. The only nitpick I have is that instead of "crazy-ass Tad" they should have given more time to Ted and Blake.

I think the Brian/Justin ending was realistic and very touching.

I loved how things ended as they began-in Babylon with Mikey/Brian dancing. Yet they showed Mikey go down to be with Ben, so I thought that was cool too.

Gale Harold cannot dance his way out of a paper bag. lmfao It was painful watching him. lol

I cried during the scene where Brian said goodbye to Gus. I also noticed that he said "son" rather than "sonny boy".

I think they should have spent more time on Blake too. That Tad was psycho! I did love that Blake just came along when he blew out his candles.

I really loved the little references to the past seasons and especially the first episode...so many parallels. It was a nice nod to us fans that would notice the inside jokes and references.

That's right, he didn't say sonny boy. I didn't notice that. Hm. That scene was just heartbreaking.

Even though Brian ended up alone (hopefully not permanently) dancing, I think that after 5 years, they showed that he finally opened up to people, truly fell in love, and grew up a lot. The whole story of the show was boys becoming men, and I think Michael and Brian dancing again at the end showed where they were now and how far they've come.

I also adored the Mikey voiceover for the episode...just like episode 101.

One more thing...Gale can't dance

LOL..gorgeous, but true....best bad Gale dance of the show IMO still has to be episode 103 when he's by Justin and the 2 tricks...arms swaying side to side like he's trying to take flight.

In the finale, it looks like he's doing slow motion fast-walking, with his arms bent swinging back and forth. Gale, honey, stick to just being naked and hot. LOL

Gale's dancing - The man is hot, but come on...that was bad. At least when Michael was up there it wasn't as noticable...but once he was alone...my goodness.
