So this isn't one of my usually exited entries. This week has been relatively hard for me, more emotionally than physically. First, I'm realizing that my background is radically different from most of the people that I've encountered here, not only people that I'm helping, but my friends and Corps members. Hey Sara,
In two parts I am glad to hear of your experiences on Americore. I had no idea that it would be so demanding, but as always you will rise past the occasion and suceed. Second, the growth and development that you will expereince will mold you as a person for the rest of your life. Embrace each experience and let it carry you onward into a beautiful feature. Reconize that with each encounter or expeierience that you are fourtunate and remain humble, the world needs more humility.

Okay, it does work. First of all, i love this journal thing. I was bummed after a week or so when i hadn't heard from you- then i remembered this! It's so great to hear about everything you're going through - though it sounds difficult, at the end of the day...week...project, it's all worth it! What exactly are you doing? In Tennassee right?
I don't think your decision to eat meat again was a bad one. I remember the meals in A and it wasn't ever easy to eat the way I wanted. And the Walmart thing- I hear ya - do what you can.
I'm still at the same # if you ever wanna talk. I'd love to hear more about your teammates and project. Sounds pretty cool so far, like it and they are challanging you. that's good- it's what you're there for, right?! Take care.
Much love,
Frances
