So my initial warning is "read it if you want to have your guts ripped out with a spoon," but that's not exactly the biggest inducement I've ever seen.  So just consider that parts of this come from a pretty dark place.

This is figliaperduta, whom LJ has declared to be underage, from the RP account, as it is the only one I can access.

I found this fic on FF.N sometime in January, and I was immediately floored. I love Sirius-in-Azkaban fic, and I love AUs, and this just hurt in all the right places.

And then I lost it.

Today, I woke up and decided that I was going to find it again, and so I did. I still have so very few words to express my love of this story and my adoration for your writing abilities.

Please, please continue. I beg you.

Thank you so much. I love hearing from readers, and I love knowing that what I write makes a difference to people. This was a very cathartic piece to write, and it hurt *me* in all the right places to write it. Sometimes you want to spare your characters all that pain, but it feels dishonest not to include it, and you end up feeling like a parent who can no longer shield your child from the world.
