so i got back to my room, and was completely shocked.
On the dry erase board:
“sorry for the smell coming out of our room, our roommate had tuna [arrow point to my name] that one.
Maddy - please throw that tuna away.
Thanks,
Your roommates
Please
Thank you”
I wrote: “no. it’s late, I’ll take it out tomorrow”
On the box:
“this is your tuna stuff and some trash that smells from it
Your roommates
Also!
Take it out - please and don’t bring it back to our room. Thanks!”
The box is mine, I had not thrown it away, and was considering put clothing items I didn’t wear in it so I’d have more space.
It now contains:
4 water bottles. (not mine)
2 plastic cups (not mine)
Hair dying kit (not mine)
Soda can (not mine)
Soap box (not mine)
Plastic cup containing what appears to be a sanitary napkin (not mine)
Cup from clark (not mine)
Closed, not smelling loaf of moldy bread (mine)
Closed, not smelling box containing four powdered donuts (mine)
Napkin, used, (not mine)
2 take out boxes, one containing food (mine)
Additional cardboard box, mine, not trash.
This appears to be the entire contents of the trash can.
This box was placed in the hallway.
I had not been previously asked to throw anything away.
Personal items moved:
Laundry basket and bag. These were previously within the rectangle of space created by opening my closet doors less than all the way. They were placed on my bed.
5 to 10 articles of dirty laundry that were under the laundry basket were piled on folded clean clothes on top of the drawers in my closet.
The actions I will take as a result of this are to move the laundry basket back where it belongs, return the box to the room and throw it away tomorrow, and put this document under her door with a coversheet/note asking her to discuss it with me as soon as possible.
